Quasar App Data Retention Policy

At Quasar, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data. This policy outlines how long we retain different types of data collected through the Quasar math quiz app.

1. Data Collected Automatically (App Activity, Performance, Crashes)
To improve the Quasar app's functionality, performance, and stability, we automatically collect certain technical and aggregated data related to your app activity, performance, and crashes. This data is primarily used for troubleshooting, identifying bugs, understanding general usage patterns, and optimizing the app experience.
Examples of this data include:

Retention Period:
All data collected around app activity, performance, and crashes is automatically deleted within 90 days from the date of collection. This data is typically anonymized or aggregated and is not used to identify individual users.
2. Account and Associated Saved Data
When you create an account with Quasar, we collect and store information necessary to provide you with personalized content, track your progress, and manage your subscriptions. This may include:

Account Information: Username, email address (if provided), password (hashed).

Quiz Progress: Scores, completed quizzes, questions attempted, and other educational progress data.

Subscription Information: Details related to your premium access (but not your full payment card details, which are handled by the app stores' payment processors).
Account Deletion and Data Retention:
You have the right to delete your Quasar account and all associated saved data at any time.

Unsubscribing from Billing: If you unsubscribe from any premium billing or subscription, your account and all associated saved data will be automatically deleted within 30 days of your subscription ending. This allows for a grace period in case of accidental unsubscription or re-subscription.

Manual Account Deletion: You can initiate a manual account deletion from within the Quasar app settings. Upon your request for manual account deletion, your account and all associated saved data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

You can request account deletion directly through the Quasar app settings. If you encounter any issues or prefer to submit your request via a email, please contact support@voxcogni.com
Please note: Deleting your account is irreversible. Once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
3. Exceptions to Deletion
In certain limited circumstances, we may be required to retain certain data for longer periods than stated above, only where necessary and as permitted or required by law, such as:

Legal Obligations: To comply with legal process, governmental requests, or applicable laws and regulations.Fraud Prevention: To prevent fraudulent activity or abuse of our services.
